State Workers
Do you know how hard it is to get up in the morning?
Just to go to work where you feel that management doesn’t care about what happen to you?
Take a good look at what kind of danger you could encounter working as a State Worker.
Dangerous Working Mandatory.
Working Condition Dangerous.
Worker’s You Cannot Get Sick. Too many sick days would get you fired.
You know it’s sad to work so many years at your job thinking that you will retire.
Guess what? You don’t!
Your body is so broken down from all those years of injury and hard work.
LOOK OUT!
Where’s my JOB? It’s behind the first door! Oh no!
It’s behind the second door! No it’s OUT THE DOOR.
DO NOT GET SICK.
THIS WILL HAPPEN
Discipline: Removal.
That’s not all, Folks!
Now Let’s Talk About Safety
Working with clients that are mentally ill is one of the most unsafe jobs you can work.
I read a story that was posted on the internet about staff beating their patients.
That’s not true.
Whoever wrote that story needs to get the story straight. I will give you one month to work my job. I don’t think you will last one week. Forget it. It may be a day.
You will change your mind. Believe me this is not an easy job.
Guess what? I have taken many trips to the hospital myself after being attacked by a client, all because they want to see their family. So guess what they target us? In addition, family members promise to visit their loved ones but don’t keep their promises. This is why we end up getting injured but the client. They take their frustrations out on us.
I worked twenty-six years in the Mental Health field. Approximately 2% of the patient’s families would visit with them during that time. One thing I can say. Most family members, would quick to complain about how you taking care of their loves ones.
The clients that we took care of would not say anything bad about us.
On holidays we always planned something for the patients to do. We spent more time `with our clients than we did with our families.
Why? You could say that special word (Family).
Please don’t judge until you really had a chance to work a job like this.
We All Have Family, Too.
